What is Warrior Kickboxing?

Warrior Kickboxing is a fitness class that incorporates High Intensity Interval Training, Muscle Confusion, Tabata Training, and Periodization to provide you with measurable results.  This class combines exercise and bag work to create a unique workout.

Join us if you want to tone up, build stamina, get into shape, or just have a fun workout!  Both men and women will benefit from the Warrior Kickboxing program and will feel empowered to reach their fitness goals.

This is purely a fitness class. While you will learn how to properly punch and kick which can be great for self defense, in this class they will only be used on the bags and in the air. For those wanting to spar other people we do offer Fight Club classes to add more of the combat skills.

Tuesday and Thursday        7:45 PM to 8:45 PM

Sunday                                   10:30 AM to 11:30 AM

The class starts with a warmup to get loosened up. Next the class goes over the techniques to be used so they can be used properly without injury. The rest of the class provides intervals of cardio fitness involving punching and kicking heavy bags and pads alternated with muscle building exercises frequently involving elastic stretch bands.

What if I’m not fit?

Anytime is a great time to start. While the class is high paced and energetic everyone is encouraged to go at whatever pace they feel is comfortable. If you can’t perform any of the exercises due to injury or other problem an instructor will be happy to provide you with an alternative exercise to ensure you get the most out of the class time.

 What kind of clothing and gear is required?

Standard fitness clothing of a t-shirt or athletic shirt with  sleeves and shorts or workout pants are recommended. If you’re ever not sure, ask one of the instructors.

Shoes are optional but we require that all shoes have non-marking soles and that the shoes only be worn inside the school. This protects the specialized mats and keeps them clean from outside dirt and other debris during classes.

The following gear is recommended for starting Kickboxing:

  • Gloves for punching on the bags
  • Jump rope
  • Elastic fitness band
  • Water bottle
  • Small towel for sweat

Who is this class for?

Kickboxing classes are for all men and women age 16+.

Sunday family kickboxing classes are for all ages 8+.
